As the author, I recommend the use of other internet ESL sites. Many offer wonderful documents free of charge. I can suggest for instance for intermediate to advanced students: www.breakingnewsenglish.com, www.esldiscussions.com, www.wordchamp.com or other websites on my page of useful websites.

But remember you want to elaborate a logical structure for your course. You want your students to learn from skills that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. You would like them to keep their documents from your course (preferably in booklets) as precious references and not just throw away the photocopies at the end of the school year. You want to be able to evaluate them impartially so that they will progress rapidly. All these problems of motivation, organization, language acquisition, and evaluation are discussed in "QualityTime-ESL: The Digital Resource Book 2.0".
