TESOL France organized a fabulous 29th annual colloquium in Nov. 2010. It was an opportunity to network and socialize; David Crystal and his family put on a wonderful "language play" show after David Hill’s lecture; David Crystal entertained us with "From Scrabble to Babble" and Ken Wilson, Russell Stannard, John Corbett, Damian Corcoran, Dennis Davy, Stephen Brewster, Cleve Miller and of course our Internet expert Shelly Terrell all gave fascinating presentations. Linda Gerena, Elisabeth Anne and Jane Ryder also gave thought-provoking talks.To close the colloquium Ben Crystal gave an inspiring talk/performance on Shakespeare and the language of his times.
I wish to thank Bethany Cagnol (President TESOL France) for such an enjoyable event. For those who attended my talk on podcasts and podcasting there’s a PDF with slides from my presentation.
